To Eat or Not To Eat?
Funniest Christmas Present (for Freddie)...
So the funniest Christmas present was not even opened up. I found it in the bag with one of Freddie's other presents that my mom gave him. A fork. I was like what the heck? I was still at her house, he had already gone to the house, I was leaving too. I was like, Mom, why is there a fork in Freddie's bag? She said, oh he didn't see that. It is a fork. You see if he is eating and is like I want something off Jennifer's plate he can expand the fork and just take it right off of your plate.
This is the before:
This is the after:
She also said it could be used as a back scratcher. My mom thinks she is pretty funny!!
PS If you want one to take food off of your husband's plate or wife's plate....I think she got it at Restoration Hardware!!

These Are of Few of My (Christmas) Favorite Things
Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things
These are some of my new and old favorite Christmas things (some I got at my Christmas Wedding Shower...some I bought, some were Christmas presents...)
(A nite-lite my wonderful assistant gave me after I told her I wanted one!!)
(Mean Santa, Freddie says it is my dad because he hunts all the time, but Freddie bought this at a Cabelas on the way to California...um, thoughtful to buy Christmas ornaments, but a little scarey...at least when we have kids...this Santa will not come out to play!)
(Fuzzy, I know...our Master's ornament that Freddie loves....)
(My engagement frogs.)
(My pink Santa, so GIRLIE, I luv it!)
(At the top, it says, "Let's get together and WINE". Now why would someone give me that one?)
(My Christmas church my mom's friend gave me a long time ago. It lights up!)
(My nutcracker collection....hint, hint, I need MORE!)
(My reindeer door bell...My TJMaxx buy yesterday when I was supposed to be Christmas shopping...only thing I bought there!)
Happy Christmas Eve! And let me just tell you so far there are NO Christmas presents under the tree for me. Santa better get busy!

2 Years Ago Today
HOW IT ALL BEGAN:
2 years ago tonight, Freddie and I well, according to him, starting dating. I was at the Williams Family Christmas Party that my cousin throws (Freddie is best friends with both of my cousins). Actually the shin-ding was last night at my cousin's house. 2 years ago it was at the
Marbury Center (where he caters events) and actually our reception is going to be there. So we had a good time last night and took some time to take some pics.
Afterwards we went to this Redneck Karaoke "Cracka" party. Sorry did not get any pics of that. Although there was some interesting late night dancing going on....It was very late and "these redneck crackas" were singing Rocky Mountain High on the karaoke machine. (No pics from that, sorry!!!).These are some of the pics from this year's Williams Family Christmas Partee!

Are You in the Christmas Spirit?
I might be now....
Well, I had barely bought any Christmas presents until today. I got out in all of that stupid traffic. Usually in my town, not much traffic. I think that every person was out near the mall or near Target. Why weren't these people at work today (besides teachers)??? Anyhoo, I am a little more Christmasie today...not as bah-humbug as I was the other day. Not working can put you in a better mood.
Well tonight Hank and Harley were in the Christmas spirit too:
(Actually they look like they are saying, "Why the hell do I have this stupid bow on me?" And Freddie wanted to know what I was doing with his dog, Hank. I said, "Putting him in the Christmas Spririt!")

That's What I Love About Sunday
Friday night we went to the shortest concert ever at this place called, The Country Club. Not, not a real uppity country club. A country bar, where Craig Morgan played for like an hour and 15 minutes. Shortest concert I have ever been to. I love his songs but someone said up close his nails were dirty. I was close enough but didn't care to look. Must be that oil 'an grease under his nails from his song I love. However, I took a few pics and he looks a bit constipated when he sings! And there were some rednecks screaming and trying to throw themselves at him. Very humorous....
Here are his lyrics to my favorite:
That's what I love about Sunday:
Cat-napping on the porch swing;
You curled up next to me,
The smell of jasmine wakes us up.
Take a walk down a back road,
Tackle box and a cane pole;
Carve our names in that white oak,
An' steal a kiss as the sun fades,
That's what I love about Sunday,
Oh, yeah.

Your Ornaments are Showing!
My Christmas Wedding Shower
(My mom and Freddie's mom)
(All the ladies who threw the shower and me)
(My wonderful assistant at school and me)
(Me and my mom)
Yep, my ornaments were showing apparently. At least that is what my sister told me yesterday at my Christmas Shower my mom's friends threw me (when I was opening my presents). Apparently the dress my mother told me to wear might have been a little "boobie"!
Here are some pictures. I got some great ornaments and Christmas goodies and have already decorated with them, thanks to my little sis. Several people asked me what I wanted and I said, "Girlie" ornaments. Oh well, Freddie has to have a girlie tree with some pink ornaments on it! :)

Kindergarten Kronicles, Part "I lost count a long time ago"
TEDDY BEAR DAY!!!
I am going to boast. Best kindergarten teacher of the year. Last Friday, we made bear floats out of shoeboxes (Christmas floats, that is)...although the media specialist said they looked more like caskets. We had a bear parade and a bear picnic, too!!! So yes, I win the award for funnest (not a real word, I know) teacher of the year. It was "B" week, for my strugglers at least, the others already know that sound! Oh and so they were supposed to bring a stuffed teddy bear to school....we did get some rabbits, kitty cats, and one stuffed car (yes, a stuffed McQueen from the movie, Cars!). Go figure!
Check out the pics.

His or Hers?
His and Hers Shower
So last night we had a shower in our honor. A His and Hers Shower given by some of Freddie's mom's friends. Well there was only one couple, Freddie's sisters friend, who went by the rules and brought something for His and the Hers. (Although I don't think that was really the rule.......)
Check out this remote. The BIGGEST remote I have ever seen (for HIS of course):
And then for the hers: an apron. It says DOMESTIC DIVA. (My family would probably say, Diva, not too domestic.....but I do cook, just not all that cleaning stuff!)
We did have a good time. My aunt, uncle, and cousin and his wife came into town for the event. And we all got some good low country boil and banana's foster. They had a station set up with a man cooking some banana's foster. YUM YUM.

Scattered, Smothered, Chunked, Diced, Topped?
So, reading someone's post today and they were talking about taking their kids to the Waffle House. So reminds me of my favorite place, if you have never been to the Waffle House, YOU ARE MISSING OUT! I love that place. Freddie and I go ALOT. Maybe once a week or every two weeks. My favorite is the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. Bacon: EXTRA crispy and hashbrowns (not all of that stuff above...I just like them "scattered low"...which is a new term for me that my waitress told me last time I was there, means extra crispy!!!!)So I googled Waffle House and they have some fun facts:
- If you lay all of the Bryan bacon end-to-end that Waffle House serves in a year, it will stretch from Atlanta to Los Angeles seven times! (That's more than 21,000 miles of bacon)
- If you could stack all of the sausage patties we serve in one day, it would reach the TOP of the Empire State Building! (Did you want grits with that?)
- Waffle House serves more than 3.2 million pounds of grits each year. That is enough to fill 86 semi-trucks!
- Each year Waffle House customers eat more than 334,000 pounds of pecans in their waffles. That is more than 21 million pecans.
- Waffle House customers consume two percent of the total eggs produced in the United States for foodservice use. That is more than 185,000,000 eggs every year, 500,000 eggs everyday, 20,833 eggs every hour, 347 eggs every minute and five eggs every second.
- If you used all of the eggs Waffle House serves in a year to make a cheese omelet, it would weigh 28 tons and would need 185 million slices of cheese. (Do you want hashbrowns with that?)
- If you lined up all the bowls of Bert's Chili® Waffle House serves in a year, it would stretch the length of Florida's coastline on both the Atlantic and the Gulf coasts!
- Waffle House serves more than 10,000 T-bone steaks every day.
- If you stack all of the USDA Choice hamburger patties Waffle House serves in a year, it would equal the height of 18 Mount Everests!
- Waffle House serves more than 381 tons of country ham every year. That translates to more weight than a fully-loaded Boeing 747 at takeoff.
And P.S. I LUV ME SOME GRITS; however, theirs suck...don't order them!!!!
