Not Yo Ordinary Peanut Butter and Banana....
Crepes! Yep, tonight was "Sunday Night Suppa Club" as we call it (although hubby is out of town) and my cuz made some peanut butter and banana crepe cake type thing. Freddie and I have been talking about it since Vegas. See we had some peanut butter and banana crepe in Paris at La Creperie. It was damn good! Well my cuz's rendition was pretty damn good tonight too. YUM YUM YUM. I love being a glutton! :)

Scattered, Smothered, Chunked, Diced, Topped?

So, reading someone's post today and they were talking about taking their kids to the Waffle House. So reminds me of my favorite place, if you have never been to the Waffle House, YOU ARE MISSING OUT! I love that place. Freddie and I go ALOT. Maybe once a week or every two weeks. My favorite is the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. Bacon: EXTRA crispy and hashbrowns (not all of that stuff above...I just like them "scattered low"...which is a new term for me that my waitress told me last time I was there, means extra crispy!!!!)So I googled Waffle House and they have some fun facts:
- If you lay all of the Bryan bacon end-to-end that Waffle House serves in a year, it will stretch from Atlanta to Los Angeles seven times! (That's more than 21,000 miles of bacon)
- If you could stack all of the sausage patties we serve in one day, it would reach the TOP of the Empire State Building! (Did you want grits with that?)
- Waffle House serves more than 3.2 million pounds of grits each year. That is enough to fill 86 semi-trucks!
- Each year Waffle House customers eat more than 334,000 pounds of pecans in their waffles. That is more than 21 million pecans.
- Waffle House customers consume two percent of the total eggs produced in the United States for foodservice use. That is more than 185,000,000 eggs every year, 500,000 eggs everyday, 20,833 eggs every hour, 347 eggs every minute and five eggs every second.
- If you used all of the eggs Waffle House serves in a year to make a cheese omelet, it would weigh 28 tons and would need 185 million slices of cheese. (Do you want hashbrowns with that?)
- If you lined up all the bowls of Bert's Chili® Waffle House serves in a year, it would stretch the length of Florida's coastline on both the Atlantic and the Gulf coasts!
- Waffle House serves more than 10,000 T-bone steaks every day.
- If you stack all of the USDA Choice hamburger patties Waffle House serves in a year, it would equal the height of 18 Mount Everests!
- Waffle House serves more than 381 tons of country ham every year. That translates to more weight than a fully-loaded Boeing 747 at takeoff.
And P.S. I LUV ME SOME GRITS; however, theirs suck...don't order them!!!!

Mexican Madness
So, I think if I was going to die tomorrow, one of my "last" meals would be Mexican. YUM!!! I can't ever get enough of that, okay sometimes, but my favorite food ever invented was CHEESE DIP! Now, I will say that since I have been dating Freddie I learned about the SALSA's dip. That has the cheese, beef, and beans all in one. How sinful and fattening is that? I mean I just don't understand these anorexic people? How could you be anorexic when there is cheese dip? So, last night I went with my sister, my cousin's cousin (how redneck is that?), my sister's friend Tracey (and mine too of course) and her cute friend Courtney to Salsa's. And I learned the most disturbing news ever....Courtney said she did not like cheese? What, no wonder she is so skinny! How could someone NOT like cheese? That's like impossible....no pizza, no cheeseburgers, no cheese fries, no cheesedip, no grilled cheeses, no bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits, and well I could go on and on. To sum this up, I might be skinny too if I didn't eat cheese, but let me just tell you, THAT AIN'T HAPPENING!!!!!
